- Do you offer all-inclusive wedding packages?
- No. Woodland Retreats is a venue-only destination. We do not offer bundled wedding packages, but we’re happy to share our top-tier vendor list and make personal email introductions to help you create your dream team.
- Can we bring our own vendors?
- Yes — as long as they are pre-approved and provide proof of insurance. We’re flexible, but all vendors must meet our professional and safety standards.
- How many guests can we host?
- Hocking Manor: up to 100 wedding guests
- Timberframe Lodge: up to 120 wedding guests
- Combined estate rental: up to 120 wedding guests
- How many guests can stay overnight?
- Hocking Manor: sleeps 27 guests
- Timberframe Lodge: sleeps 30 guests
- Combined: sleeps up to 57 overnight guests
- What’s included in the venue rental?
Each booking includes a 1- or 2-night stay at your selected property (or both), full access to the venue grounds for your ceremony and reception, plus:
- Complimentary air mattresses (no additional fee)
- Luxury bedding and bath linens
- Hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
- Personal vendor referrals and introductions
Additional nights may be added upon request.
- Are there ceremony and reception locations on-site?
Yes! Both properties offer flexible indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces. We do recommend planning for weather contingencies.
- Hocking Manor: rolling hills and open lawn areas. Accommodates up to 100 guests outdoors and 50 guests indoors. A tent is required if your guest list exceeds indoor capacity.
- Timberframe Lodge: lakeside dock, tiered bridge platform, and scenic decks — ideal for ceremonies and tented receptions. Indoors accommodates 60–70 guests comfortably. A tent is required when hosting outdoors beyond indoor capacity.
- Do you require a Day-of Coordinator?
Yes. A Day-of Coordinator is required for all weddings. We’ll introduce you to professionals we trust via our vendor list, but payment and scheduling are handled directly between you and the coordinator. We do not include coordinator fees in your venue rental.
